A rare French Sedan Timepiece in an ebonised shield shaped case with gilt suspension loop.  The 3 inch convex enamel dial with very delicate Arabic numerals and double minutes circle has brass, spade tipped hands, the minute with counterpoise. The glass is set in a finely milled, brass bezel.

The fusee movement of 30 hours duration with baluster pillars and well pierced and engraved balance bridge is signed as above and protected by a pivoted metal dust shutter.
