A rare late George III period ebonised automaton table clock. The 8-day brass dial movement has hour strike on a bell, an inset subsidiary date disc above VI within the dial centre and a painted river landscape in the arch with two tennis players batting a ball backwards and forwards.

This is only the second automaton table clock we have had with tennis players in over 35 years of buying and selling clocks.
