A fine English, William IV period ebonised mantel clock, the 8-day double fusee movement with hour strike on a bell.

Width: 6 ¼ in (16 cm)
Depth: 5 ½ in (14 cm)
*Baillie records that Dwerrihouse & Ogston were in Davies Street in 1836 and notes that they also traded as Dwerrihouse Ogston & Bell. According to Britten, by 1840 this partnership was at 131 Mount Street so this small clock must have been made prior to that date.
