A fine gorge cased hour going striking and repeating carriage clock with subsidiary alarm work. The 2 inch enamel dial has Roman hour numerals, Breguet style hands and a separate 1 inch enamel dial inset below VI for the alarm. The elegant gorge case is engraved with the date  1er Janvier 1877 on the concave front base moulding.

 This clock was made for the English market.
