A George III mahogany bracket clock with glazed sides and back. The bell top case with four pineapple finials and brass carrying handle on stepped base with brass bracket feet. 

The hinged arched aperture door with pierced floral spandrels and subsidiary dial for strike/silent in the arch. The silvered metal chapter ring with Arabic and Roman numerals, signed to the matted gilt centre with William Wall Richmond above date aperture. 

The 8 day movement with verge escapement and bell strike and the finely engraved backplate is also signed by the maker.
